Silence

They are trying to keep us quiet...They are trying to silence us...

I am Strong, I am Beautiful, I am a Woman...

I will Learn, I will Speak, I will Stand...

Dear friends, I am working on my schedule... for now you will hear from me on Wednesday's...until next week...Speak out and Let your Voices be Heard for all of us...

Last One Week

In the last one week, I went on a mission to give out items I had that I did not use a lot or knew I would not use a lot over the next few months. It felt really good on so many levels: 1. paying it forward 2.re-assessing my Needs versus my Wants.

There is a healing effect of self discovering and acting on it. I choose to use the last one week to work on myself. It is a journey and I pray for strength to keep on it.

During the same period on February 8th, we learnt the Nigerian elections have been moved to March 28th and April 11th. Many people are unhappy with the move. I do understand their point of view. However, I do believe, there is Strength in Leadership when we are able to say, we could have done a better job but need a little more time to get it right. Yes, there is a cost to that decision. However, we need to measure the cost vs the benefit of both decisions.

The Oil Market

In the last few of weeks, I have monitored the global oil market hundreds of times for so many reasons; one of which is that I knew that ignoring the current economic impacts of the drastic drop in oil prices... will not simply make it go away.

I am aware of the impact of the price drop in my life and in my community. However, I am worried of its impact in oil economies like Nigeria with a large percentage of the population living below the poverty line...

If the impact is real for economies that seem to have gotten it right? I can only imagine the impact on economies that play a game of chance...

Chance...#OurLives #NotAGame

February 14th Elections - Nigeria

In 12 days, the Nigerian electorate will cast their votes in the 2015 Presidential Elections.

Our two strongest candidates are President Jonathan and General Buhari Rtd --- from them, I still search for something to excite me, something new to look forward to. I may or may not find it with either of them as President on May 29th 2015, but I do have one ask, to whomever the Nigerian electorate choose...Please pay attention to security, the economy, healthcare and infrastructural development.

Thank you...

ME

I find myself growing, maturing, getting stronger in my Faith for Christ JESUS. As I strive to be like HIM, I find that I am more caring, considerate, loving, forgiving, happy...

With this peace, I am content and fulfilled. The say little drops of water make a mighty ocean...the ripple effect of kind deeds done for the right reason is mighty.

I love you my brothers and sisters, remember we all bleed red.

Blessing

I was motivated today by a couple of sentences...

'Blessing in Disguise'...seeing beauty in difficulty times and having faith. Can you see your Blessing?

'I hope I have touched your life, like you did mine'....Whose life have you touched today?

2015 General Elections - Nigeria

I refuse to weep for Nigeria because of the strength and faith of its populace. I take a stand with #Nigeria to say NO to Violence.

Being an elected official is not a birth right, it is a responsibility of trust placed on an individual by the people.

#Nigeria your Vote is your Voice use it for the right reasons and for the generations yet unborn.

I Love you #Nigeria and I pray that We All are the #Change we need.

Exhausted

It has been an exhausting few weeks...market fluactuations, projects, deadlines...yet somehow I have found the strength to go on...I know this Strength is not mine but the LORD...Thank you Father.

I think about the current economic environment (oil price drop) and the interplay of politics in Nigeria. But it is difficult for me to follow and understand the full impact of its effects... due to poor transperancy in various sectors of the country. I wonder in a political year, is the government in power (who for the most part, plan to stay in power) and other politicians even intrested in the economic impact the drop in oil price has on its populace? Do the understand the effect on the Nigerian economy? Not forgetting the state of security in Nigeria?

Poverty - NIGERIA

What is poverty?

Why is a country so Rich, yet most of its Populace live in Poverty?

O! poverty flee from us
Lest you make us loose our mind
O! ye greedy leader, in my hunger I see through your lies
This poverty driven hunger threatens to silence me
But with my last Strength...I would Speak up for what is Right
